Kapital Kidvention Event Recap

event_KK_logo.pngIt’s been a decade of fun, education and entertainment!  Earlier this year, Kapital Kidvention held its 10th annual convention focused on children's entertainers. Sharing, comradery and learning were around every corner at the event, which hosted nearly 400 attendees! There was something for everyone:  balloon sculpting and artistry, magic, clowning and face painting.  Sponsored by Qualatex, all attendees were able to experiment with balloons in the nightly Jam and had fun participating in group builds and contests.

“This was our biggest year yet,” said Louis Meyer, producer of Kapital Kidvention. “Not only did we have more attendees than we have ever, but the combination of balloon artists, face painters, magicians and clowns had a great synchronicity to it. I believe we had more balloon artists than any other art form this year! Balloon classes are going to get even bigger for next year.”

This year’s convention was held over three days and featured a roster of 20 presenters! Included among these were Qualatex-sponsored instructors Connie Iden-Monds, CBA of Party Animals in Nashville, TN, USA, Robbie Furman, CBA of Twisticology in Kinnelon, New Jersey, USA, and Juan Gonzales of JLO Magic and Entertainment in Bremerton, WA, USA. Billy Damon of Damon Entertainment in Orlando, FL, USA served as the Qualatex JAMbassador. Qualatex representatives Eve Antonello, CBA, RJ Carlino, CBA, and Joe Piasecki were also on-hand to work with delegates and construct a large lobby balloon display in honor of this significant anniversary.

Make no mistake; this convention doesn’t need a ten-year event to be special. You won’t believe the plans for year 11!   Find out more here.
